Non-profit organizations face unique difficulties when it comes to employee benefits. In recruiting and retaining talented employees, nonprofits compete directly with for-profits, and setting the right level for compensation and benefits can be particularly challenging. What nonprofits do related to benefits can make the difference between being able to recruit and retain top employees and suffering from staff openings and high turnover.

In addition to these already-daunting issues, non-profit employers are now dealing with an additional unique situation: the complexity related to having three generations making up the bulk of workforce, with two additional generations present at both ends of the age spectrum. Each of these five generations has a different set of priorities. Managing their benefits is especially challenging because generally, these different generations prefer very different types of communication and may want widely varying employee benefits.

How is one non-profit employer supposed to make these generations happy?  In this interactive session, our speakers,  Alan Pfeffer and Greg Feigenbaum will share practical, proven ideas for addressing the following benefits issues across the generations in the non-profit organization:

·      Creating benefits communications for each generation

·      How to make the most of technology

·      Benefits portfolio effectiveness across the generational spectrum

·      Retirement plan needs for differing generations

·      Financial wellness: helping generations deal with debt, budgeting, health and       wealth
